A large part of our practice is dedicated to lameness diagnosis. To determine the exact location where your horse’s pain is coming from, our veterinarians perform a thorough musculoskeletal exam in addition to using hoof testers, flexion tests, diagnostic nerve blocks and joint blocks to assist in the diagnosis.
Our diagnostic imaging modalities include standard and digital radiography (x-ray) and digital ultrasound.
The digital images obtained from these sophisticated diagnostic tools allow us to pick up the most subtle tissue changes and come to an accurate diagnosis.
We offer many different treatment modalities to improve the healing process and rate of recovery of your horse. These include, but are not limited to: focused extracorporeal shockwave, laser, electromagnetic therapy, hydrotherapy, massage, injections, farrier consult for corrective shoeing.
